The TCFV BIPP Educational Series presents an exciting training provided by Men Stopping Violence (MSV). This training features MSV’s new curriculum: Men at Work: Building Safe Communities. Men at Work is an innovative and multi-disciplinary curriculum exploring male violence against women in an accessible manner, challenging men to take responsibility for their actions, and providing the educational experience necessary to become allies in ending violence against women.

The presentation will be led by Sulaiman Nurriddian, M.Ed., Director of Men’s Education for Men Stopping Violence. Nuriddin works closely with the DeKalb County (Ga.) court system, specifically with men who have been arrested for domestic violence.

Additionally, Nuriddin has conducted trainings for the National Council of Churches, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Public Health and the Atlanta Police Department and the U.S. Department of Justice. He has served as a consultant for Motivational Educational Entertainment (MEE), The Vera Institute of Justice, and The National Men’s Network to End Domestic and Sexual Violence. Internationally, he has co-led a training initiative in Great Britain and Puerto Rico.

The training will take place October 25 through October 27 at the Goodwill Community Center in Austin, TX. The registration cost is $350. Participants will receive a trainer’s manual, workbook and 15.75 (BIPP) CJAD-approved hours. Click here to register now.
