JOB ANNOUNCEMENT:  FINANCE MANAGER

 

Eastland County Crisis Center, located in Eastland, Texas, is seeking an individual with a background in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping to coordinate the financial activities and reporting for our nonprofit organization.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with knowledge of or experience with government grants and contracts.

 

EASTLAND COUNTY CRISIS CENTER PROGRAMS & MISSION:  The mission of the Crime Victims Assistance Center is to provide services designed to meet the physical, social, & emotional needs of domestic violence and sexual assault victims by providing immediate, short, and long-term assistance.

The mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center is to serve as the voice of justice, hope, and healing for children and to provide a warm, caring atmosphere where their healing process can begin.

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  The Finance Manager position provides financial support services for the organization and ensures compliance with financial reporting requirements.  Coordinates financial reporting and requests for reimbursement for multiple grants and contracts.

Background investigations will be conducted on all candidate finalists.

 

REPORTS TO:  Executive Director  

ANNUAL SALARY:  $34,000 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in fund accounting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Quickbooks.
  • Must be able to perform advanced administrative and accounting duties.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Experience with nonprofit financial management.
  • Understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse issues.
  • Preference given to those persons bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
