| Job Information | The National Council on Family Violence located in Austin, Texas, seeks an experienced and dynamic Chief Advancement Officer. The ideal candidate will have a personal track record in identifying new prospective donors, building relationships, and securing major gifts. The National Council on Family Violence encompasses the Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV) established in 1978, the National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH), and the National Dating Abuse Helpline (NDAH). The agency is nationally regarded as a leader in family violence initiatives, and operates the only national domestic violence hotline in the U.S. Reporting directly to the CEO, this exciting position represents an opportunity to join an esteemed agency with a strong and compelling mission. The Chief Advancement Officer will directly oversee fundraising, marketing, public relations and communications strategies for the entire agency. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience supervising and managing a team of 3 or more, a minimum of 5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience in positions of increasing responsibility and complexity, with a proven track record of annual fundraising goals of $2 million or greater. The ability to foster relationships with diplomacy, political savvy and discretion is critical to the success of this role.
