Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV) is in its 31st year of Building a Safer Texas. For the past 30 years TCFV has worked to enhance the capacity of shelters and programs to serve thousands of battered women, children and men in local communities across Texas.

Two women are killed by their intimate partners each week in Texas. If only we could have changed their stories…However, for the 201,456 Texas victims of family violence including 11,776 adults and 15,591 children who received shelter services in 2007, there is still hope. TCFV helps and supports both service providers and victims in an effort to bring hope and healing to victims and provide them with the happy ending they deserve.

You can help with making Texas safer by donating to TCFV.  Don’t want to make an online donation?  There are other methods of giving via mail or telephone.  Don’t want to make a donation but still want to support TCFV?  Visit our Ways to Give page to find out how.
