2008 New Worker’s Institute
The Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV) will be hosting the 2008 New Workers’ Institute in Austin, Texas, on June 12-13, 2008. Conference registration fee for this event is $130 per person. The Institute will be held at the Omni South Park Hotel in Austin and hotel reservations can be made by calling 512.383.2621 or 1.800-843.6664. You may also make your reservation on line at: www.omniaustinsouthpark.com . In order to receive the TCFV special group rate of $85 (single) or $115 (double), you must make your reservation before May 27, 2008.
This two day interactive meeting has as one of its goals to encourage and support the valuable work of new domestic violence advocates. Join advocates from across Texas for this inspirational opportunity to network with domestic violence colleagues, obtain beneficial information on the seriousness of domestic violence in our state and explore new strategies in creating and supporting violence free families. Institute attendees will also be afforded the opportunity to gain useful knowledge on the foundation, philosophy, and origins of the effort to end intimate partner violence.
