Bay Area Turning Point (Webster, TX)

Full time position with benefits; Starting salary of $26,000 per year; Must have a 4-year degree & 2-years of prior experience or 6 years of experience in working with children of all age groups; Possess sensitivity & knowledge about issues of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault & its affects on children; Ability to facilitate workshops & support groups for kids; Ability to supervise & work with volunteers; Knowledgeable in resources for children;  Ability to work non-traditional hours to include evenings, weekends & serving on-call; The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing workload; Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented; Ability to manage a caseload of 30+ parents and children; Ability to lift/carry/move a minimum of 40 pounds for an extended distance; Employment is contingent upon positive outcomes of a criminal background check and motor vehicle record as described by Bay Area Turning Point Policies; Must be insurable with a clean driving record, valid automobile insurance, and at least 7 years of verifiable driving experience; Energetic and Caring personality is essential.  

Bay Area Turning Point job positions are significantly funded by grants.  If funding is lost or realigned in any area of the agency this position could be changed or eliminated.
