Governor Rick Perry will deliver the keynote address and first lady Anita Perry will be honored as Woman of the Year during the Les Femmes du Monde’s annual awards dinner Tuesday evening at the Northwood Club.Mrs. Perry will be recognized for her commitment and efforts in health care, domestic violence prevention, historic preservation, education and literacy.
The evening will begin with a 6:30 p.m. reception, followed by dinner and the program beginning at 7.

The Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico will provide the entertainment.

Les Femmes du Monde was organized almost 50 years ago by women concerned with all aspects of world conditions, especially those that affect this community and country.
