Family Of Norma Lopez Speaks About Monday’s Tragedy
CORPUS CHRISTI-6 News has some new information about Monday’s deadly shooting that left a Corpus Christi woman dead and her estranged husband in the hospital. Police said Roberto Saucedo remains in critical condition with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.On Tuesday, two of Norma Lopez’s sons spoke about their tragic loss from the shop on Everhart where their mother was killed.
It was an extremely emotional day for Lopez’s family. One of her sons, George Lopez, who lives in Monterrey, Mexico, said he got a call from Saucedo over the weekend telling him something was going to happen to his wife, who had recently filed for a divorce.
He told 6 News that Saucedo said that his mom had deceived him, and said his mother was going to pay for it, and it was not going to be with justice or time. On Monday, George found out what Saucedo was talking about.
Norma’s sons George and Jose are from a previous marriage. The brothers knew there were problems but never imagined their mother would be murdered.
