The National Domestic Violence Hotline is accepting applications for Hotline Advocates (see schedules below).

Job Summary:  Answer calls on NDVH; make appropriate referrals and provide information and crisis intervention.  Offer advocacy as needed to callers and follow up on calls for evaluation. 

Experience Required:  Basic literacy; one year experience in direct services to victims of domestic violence or similar human services programs; six months experience in crisis intervention.  Individual shall be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.  Experience/familiarity with computers with knowledge of Word for Windows and Access preferred.  

 Full Time Shifts: 

Thursday – Monday  2:45p.m. -11:15p.m. (Ability to speak Spanish required for this shift)

Sunday - Thursday   2:45p.m. - 11:15p.m.  (Ability to speak Spanish required for this shift)
