Training
The Texas Council on Family Violence educates victim advocates, criminal justice personnel, health care providers, faith communities, businesses, advocacy organizations, service providers and allied professionals in communities throughout Texas and the nation.
TCFV schedules statewide trainings that are designed to help organizations and communities work to end violence against women. Workshop topics cover a variety of issues including: battering intervention and prevention, community organizing, legal issues, working with communities of faith and assisting law enforcement.
In addition, TCFV provides training on request to meet the specific needs of your organization or agency. The 7th Annual TCFV BIPP Conference is a two-day training for law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, probation officers, BIPP facilitators, coordinators, program directors and licensed professionals who will be/are providing direct services to family violence offenders or who directly supervise staff members who work directly with offenders.

The BIPP Educational Series, Part Two is an intermediate training for professionals who have provided BIPP services for three of more years. It builds on fundamental information and best practices for group facilitation.
