One in the Movement
By joining as a staff member or volunteer at your local family violence center, you are uniting with a long line of advocates who have worked to develop a state-wide movement to eliminate family violence.
Pioneers started this work over 30 years, but there is still much to accomplish.
One in the Movement: Essential Practices for Advocates in Training, TCFV’s first online conference, will serve as a baseline and guide for your work in the movement to eliminate family violence.
This online conference is a multi-prong approach and includes:
1.
Self-Paced Online Modules These provide foundational information focused on developing your knowledge on the family violence systems in place. Participants will read through the presentation, take an exam and receive credit for the session contingent on a passing grade.
2. Live Webinars These are facilitated by expert speakers on specific issues that often concern new advocates.
