Dear Legislator,
I join with The Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV) and your local family violence shelter program in calling on you to support full funding for family violence services in Texas.
I personally know shelters and programs in our district provide lifesaving help to victims everyday.
Family violence shelters represent a safe haven for victims. But, imagine a Texas where victims have nowhere to turn. Without full funding many family violence programs will have to significantly reduce their services or even close their doors. You and I know we must continue to take family violence in Texas seriously. Join me in standing up for these and future victims of family violence.
